I am writing from New York to express my proudest sympathy to the Soyinka's family on the death of Tade. May her kind soul rest in peace. I met and related to Tade in my third year as a law student at Unife. She was a very gentle, very beautiful, thoughtful and considerate person. I remember she sent me a birthday card and this sweet biscuit. Although this was around 1987/88 school year, I can't forget the gesture. Those days girls tend to take but she was a giver. God Bless her. She also introduced me to a girlfriend of hers then with a beautiful name and person - Mofolasayo Ojuolape. After Ife I saw last in 1990 when I was at the Nigerian Law, we shared cab ride from Falomo to Ikoyi Queens Drive... our last encounter and lost touch until this news of her death.
