Aunty Tade, Words fail me in describing the shock, pain felt when informed of your passing.
We your Cousins can't talk of our childhood in Ibadan without mentioning Ebrohimi Rd . I think back about my childhood and can't recall if anything gave me more joy than hearing my Mum say "We are going to UI " We did Everything there and some more . We ate ,slept, rode bikes, roller-skates, skateboards , fell down a lot, got the bruises, cuts and scrapes and it was still our fav place in the world. I knew everybody on the street yet we lived in Bodija.
You all were our role models and closest cousins no wonder we all ended up in Staff school and ISI like you Guys and Debola ended up in Ife like Peyi. I recall going to Bible study mid week at Scripture Pasture ( with you or Aunty Peyi) that was fun cos the skateboard came along.
These memories will be cherished till Death. You will be eternally loved, remembered, and missed .
May Almighty GOD comfort Oreofe and Adeoto in these times .May He Guard and Guide them and may they be Eternally grateful and thankful for the Mother they had, the life you lived and the example you set .
Sleep well in the Bosom of your Maker and GOD.
Love,
Gbogboade
